Another Client Update: Yesterday WordPress released version 4.7.3 which was both a security and maintenance release. As of today we have all of our clients updated to the new version. It featured a fix to 6 security issues (yikes), none of which our customers had affected BlizzardPress clients. Additionally, 39 other fixes were part of the update.
Additionally, we are now starting on our March theme updates…theme creators have been busy the last month, and now over half of our client’s websites need their theme updated. Notably, The popular Jupiter Theme has a new version (5.7) which promises better template and plugin management.
Kristen and I have been busy teaching classes and designing website. I taught WordPress, SEO and Social Media at Glenwood Springs Colorado Mountain College during the last month. Look out next Monday for two classes at the Glenwood Springs Library: Email Marketing and MailChimp. We finish up the month on March 30th with a 2 hour WordPress workshop in Edwards, CO. Look for WordPress and SEO classes at CMC in Edwards this June.

We also have helped a few local businesses who already had websites (in WordPress), but needed their sites maintained. We cleaned these sites up, made them load faster, updated WordPress, updated their themes, updated their content, added Google Analytics, did so SEO, etc…
